Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki
Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki on November 15, 2023, upon the completion of his term in Mongolia. Foreign Minister Battsetseg commended Ambassador Kobayashi's active efforts and valuable contribution to advancing Mongolia-Japan relations and cooperation towards the "Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity" during his tenure in Mongolia. The Mongolian Foreign Minister underscored the Ambassador's notable role in organizing high-level reciprocal visits between the two countries, strengthening bilateral cooperation in regional and international arenas, and assisting Mongolia's effort to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic since his appointment as Japanese Ambassador to Mongolia in 2019. Furthermore, Minister Battsetseg expressed gratitude to Ambassador Kobayashi Hiroyuki for the successful implementation of a number of projects and programs aimed at developing social and economic sustainability in Mongolia, funded by the Government of Japan. At the meeting, Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh presented the “Golden Gerege” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia to the Ambassador, wishing success in his future endeavors.
