Visa waiver agreement signed with Maldives
Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of India received Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of India in Delhi on August 17 or last Thursday.
Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of India, and Mr. Ibrahim Shaheib, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of India signed the “Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of Maldives on Mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports” in Delhi on August 17 or last Thursday. Mongolia and the Republic of Maldives established diplomatic relations on August 11, 1985. Within the framework of the agreement, all types of passport holders of the two countries will be able to travel without a visa for up to 30 days, and it will be pivotal for the further development of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
