UN disability rights committee to review Mongolia
The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities or CRPD will review Malawi, Andorra, Mongolia, Austria, Israel, Mauritania, Germany and Paraguay in its latest session.
The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities or CRPD will review Malawi, Andorra, Mongolia, Austria, Israel, Mauritania, Germany and Paraguay in its latest session from 14 August to 8 September. The eight countries are among the 187 States parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. They are required to undergo regular reviews by the Committee of 18 independent international experts on how they are implementing the Convention and the Committee's previous recommendations. The CRPD, which has received respective country reports as well as other submissions from non-governmental organisations, will discuss a range of issues with the eight State delegations through public dialogues on the following dates at Geneva time.
