Mongolia and Switzerland to be expanded relations
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ankhbayar Nyamdorj received Ambassador Patricia Danzi, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ankhbayar Nyamdorj received Ambassador Patricia Danzi, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Director General of the Swiss Development and Cooperation or SDC, the Swiss Agency for international cooperation. During the meeting, they discussed the relationship between the two countries and further cooperation in the fields including economy, banking, finance, e-transition, climate change, energy, disaster management, and humanitarian cooperation. With the funding and support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, numerous important projects and programs worth more than CHF 200 million have been implemented in Mongolia, which made valuable contributions to the social and economic development of Mongolia, underscored State Secretary Anhbayar, expressing gratitude to SDC. He also stressed the importance of implementing mutual visits and enriching bilateral relations in an economic context within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year. Ambassador Patricia Danzi noted that Switzerland pays attention to expanding relations between the two countries, intensifying economic cooperation. She also pointed out that the country gives emphasis to cooperation in the fields of climate change, e-development, culture, and humanities.
