Secretary General of the State Great Khural Visits Japan to Exchange Experience
The Secretary General of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia met with the Secretary General of the House of Representatives of Japan as part of her business trip to Japan.
The Secretary General of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia met with the Secretary General of the House of Representatives of Japan as part of her business trip to Japan. At the outset of the meeting, Secretary General pointed out that the path, development model, and experience of the Japanese people have become a benchmark for Mongolia, highlighting the significant advancement in the relations between the parliaments of the two countries. For his side, the Secretary General of the House of Representatives of Japan presented the House of Representatives of Japan and its structure, mentioning the importance and results of high-level mutual visits between the parliaments and governments of Mongolia and Japan. The House of Representatives is the lower house of the National Diet of Japan. The House of Representatives has 465 members, elected for a four-year term. Both parties acknowledged the ample opportunities to enhance cooperation between the Parliamentary Secretariats of the two countries. The discussions covered various aspects of parliamentary development collaboration, encompassing the exchange of experiences and skills between the Secretariats, providing training opportunities for staff, studying each other's country's experiences, and drawing insights from other nations as well.
