The UK government appointed Fiona Blyth as the new ambassador to Mongolia.
The UK government appointed Fiona Blyth as the new ambassador to Mongolia. She will replace Philip Malone, who is current UK ambassador to Mongolia. Blyth is expected to take office in July 2023. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening the UK's relationship with Mongolia, especially in the areas of trade, investment and cultural exchange. Fiona Blyth, who previously served as deputy head of mission in Hanoi, Vietnam, and head of policy at the UK Mission to the United Nations, has a wealth of experience in international relations and diplomacy.
