Pope Francis said that he plans to visit Mongolia, during his Vatican audience with the Italian Airlines staff last Friday. In two weeks, the Pope is set to leave for his 41^st pilgrimage. On his route is Hungary, Marseille and then Mongolia. This will make Pope Francis the first pope to visit Mongolia. Incidentally, Pope Francis first spoke of travelling to Mongolia in February, during an in-flight press conference on his return trip from South Sudan. Additionally, the Pope named world’s youngest cardinal as a missionary of Italian origin, who served in Mongolia for nearly 20 years.
