“Mongolian Cultural Days” was organized by the city administration in Longjumeau, near Paris, France, from March 31 to April 9, 2023. Within the framework of this event, there was an exhibition of contemporary art by more than 10 Mongolian artists, and also presenting movies of “Nomadic Children” and “Blue Sleeves”. Moreover, discussions such as “Mongolia of Today and Yesterday: Nomadic and Settled Lifestyles”, “New Direction of Tourism”, “Historical Silk Road”, and “Medieval Travelers to the Mongolian Empire-Andre the Traveler of Longjumeau” and workshop under the name “From Mongolia to Longjumeau: The Silk Road Passed through us” was held, as well. During the event, Mongolian folk tales were told, Mongolian ankle bone games we played, and a traditional fashion show was organized, as well as a program of traditional and modern calligraphy was held. In the opening ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to France U.Nyamkhuu expressed gratitude for the mayor of Longjumeau, Sandrin Jelo, and the organizers, for the comprehensive event introducing Mongolia.
