Solid Results Expected on Easing Travels of Citizens
In the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Korea, the Prime Minister of Mongolia received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
In the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Korea, the Prime Minister of Mongolia received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Mongolian Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for his special attention to translating the agreed issues into reality, in terms of strengthening the Strategic Partnership relations between our two countries, intensifying the trade and economic cooperation, and supporting people-to-people exchange. Mentioning the fact that the Government of Mongolia has announced 2023-2025 as the “Years to visit Mongolia” to promote the tourism sector and set a goal of welcoming 1 million foreign tourists, the Prime Minister highlighted the “Welcome to Mongolia” event which is going to be organized, concurring with his visit, in Korea as the launching ceremony of the “Years to Visit Mongolia” move. Moreover, he expressed confidence that the two sides would closely cooperate to facilitate visa requirements for Mongolians, in further, achieve agreement on mutual visa exemption in pursuit of the principle of equality. For his side, while expressing his appreciation for the fact that the Prime Minister of Mongolia is starting his 2023 overseas visits from South Korea, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Korea said that the Prime Minister’s visit would be a significant impetus for strengthening the Strategic Partnership relations and cooperation between our two countries. In addition, he stressed that he was personally attending to the issues of intensifying the negotiations between the Ministries of Law and Ministries of Foreign affairs of our two countries on easing the travels of citizens of the two countries and achieving solid results on this matter in near future. Both parties confirmed their commitments to deepen and strengthen their cooperation in the regional and global arena.
