Frequency of Direct Flights between Mongolia and Vietnam to be Increased

Minister of Environment and Tourism received Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of increasing the frequency of direct flights between the two countries and agreed to mutually promote tourism events in the two countries and co-organize the Cultural Days. The Minister invited the Ambassador to take part in the High-Level Forum on Clean Air which will be organized in cooperation with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific or UNESCAP between March 2 and 3. Within the forum, representatives from 53 member states of UNESCAP will convene in Ulaanbaatar to coordinate their efforts in the fight against air pollution and intensify their cooperation. The Ambassador was also invited by the Minister to attend the ‘Blue Pearl” ice festival that will be organized in March in Khuvsgul.
