The temperature inside the building is about -5 degrees below zero, so the rooms are maintained in perfect condition. They participated in the international ice sculptor competition in Sweden. It was their second year at the competition. Moreover, they won second with their sculpture inspired by the Khunnu Empire in an international ice art competition at Lake Baikal’s Olkhon Island in February of this year. Mr. Munkh-Erdene makes sculptures using snow and ice in winter and wood and sand in other seasons. He also promotes the culture and art along with the name of his country at significant international art and carving festivals. Interestingly, his most enormous creation is the Dinosaur Park in Bayankhongor province, for which he sculpted a 7m tall, 15 m long dinosaur.
