Mongolia and Finland deepen bilateral relations

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with Under Secretary of State for International Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on expanding friendly relations in trade and economy, environment, forestry, education, culture, food supply, and tourism. The exchange of views also took place on current regional and international issues. Also it was noted that the 14th session of the Joint Commission on economic, scientific, and technological cooperation between Finland and Mongolia was held on the same day in Ulaanbaatar. Through that joint commission, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, and revitalizing economic cooperation in the post-pandemic period, especially in the fields of trade, investment, environment, forestry, renewable energy, information technology, education, culture, and mining, and signed a joint protocol of the Joint Commission.
