Labor Minister meets Ambassador of Turkey
Minister of Labor and Social Protection held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia. Officials including Deputy Labor Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Turkey in Mongolia attended the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador underscored that the two sides have been successfully cooperating to ensure the implementation of the Mongolia-Turkey Social Security Agreement that came into effect in March 2021. Minister said the establishment of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Mongolia and Turkey on cooperation in the areas of youth and sports was discussed at the 9th meeting of Mongolia-Turkey Joint Economic and Trade Commission held on November 15-16. The Minister also expressed gratitude that the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in collaboration with the Labor Ministry organized training on occupational safety and health for COVID-19 prevention in August, upskilling employees in production and service sectors. Deputy Labor Minister, Head of the National Committee on Social Security and Health asked the Turkish side to pay attention to the Ministry’s proposal to cooperate with TIKA in the field of occupational safety and health and in renewing the equipment. The Turkish Ambassador expressed his readiness to provide full support in strengthening cooperation between the two countries in labor and social protection.
