Mongolia-Cuba inter-ministerial consultative meeting held
The fourth inter-ministerial consultative meeting was held virtually between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba on December 15.
The fourth inter-ministerial consultative meeting was held virtually between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba on December 15. The meeting was headed by Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba. During the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their commitments to deepen traditionally friendly bilateral relations and concurred to expand cooperation in the spheres of health, biotechnology, education, and tourism. In this regard, the Mongolian side stressed the importance of ensuring the implementation of cooperation documents signed between the relevant organizations of the two countries. The Cuban side underscored that it has resolved to support training of Mongolian specialists and continue to implement student scholarship programs. The sides also expressed their willingness to further strengthen cooperation within the United Nations and other international and regional organizations, such as the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation.
