During the meeting, the parties discussed the need for mutual support to ensure the smooth construction of the museum and the efforts to put the museum into operation on time. The sides agreed that the favorable condition has been created to further intensify the cultural cooperation between the two countries with the help of the Law on Culture, the Law on Museums, and the Law on Cinematography Promotion. Mongolia and Turkey have a long history of cultural ties, and the countries have been working together in the fields of geology, seismology, cosmology, linguistics, history and archeology since 2004. On the basis of these relations and cooperation, significant historical research related to the Turkic period is in full swing, and the construction of the Tonyukuk Museum in Mongolia is underway with the investment of the Turkish government.
