UNICEF hands over new energy efficient kindergarten
Since 2019, UNICEF and Ministry of Education and Science have been implementing the project to improve the services of 24-hour kindergartens.
Since 2019, UNICEF and Ministry of Education and Science have been implementing the project to improve the services of 24-hour kindergartens. As part of this, a new kindergarten has been built in Bayanzurkh district with the financial support of Child Fund Korea and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The kindergarten will accommodate 100 children. The building has an automated ventilation system with multi-layer filters, an electric boiler for clean heating, a diesel generator for capacity backup power, and energy-efficient solutions that are safe for human health. In addition, it is equipped with sufficient space, WASH facilities, and kitchen equipment which creates 24-hour child-friendly environment.
