Request put forth to provide assistance to Mongolians residing in South Korea
Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan held yesterday a virtual meeting with his South Korean counterpart Kang Kyung-wha.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral close cooperation and mutual support in overcoming social and economic difficulties caused by the pandemic. Minister Enkhtaivan put forth a request to provide all-round support to Mongolians living in South Korea amid the pandemic. In turn, Minister Kang Gyeong-Hwa reaffirmed her support and expressed that she would continue to pay attention to Mongolians living in Sou
The sides also underlined that they have been working closely in repatriating the citizens wishing to return home and arranging charter flights and reaffirmed their continued cooperation in this direction.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries reviewed their achievements in the past and exchanged views on prospects of Mongolia-Korea relations to achieve in the next 30 years. The two sides agreed to further deepen the "Comprehensive Partnership", as well as increasing the frequency of high-level mutual visits in the near future.
Moreover, the sides agreed to continue to deepen the international and regional cooperation, particularly to ensure peace and security in the Northeast Asian region.
