Scholars convene for effective usage of terminologies in Mongolian language.

Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), Center for Mongolian Studies of the Mongolian State University of Education and the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies are co-hosting an international symposium under the theme “Consolidating terminologies of Mongolian-speaking nations and creating a joint database”. Linguistics and scholars from Mongolia, Japan, China, and Russia are taking part to talk about ways to integrate and consolidate Mongolian language and writing used by Mongolian-speaking people. On the first day of the event, Kurebito Tokusu, Professor of the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa delivered a speech on “Significance of eliminating dissimilarities of scientific terminology of Mongolian language”, Dr. Unurbayan, Dean of Mongolian Studies Center on “Compared observance on Mongolian scientific terminology” and Dr. Dyrkheeva from the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on “Usage of terminologies of modern Mongolian language”. The second day of the conference dedicated to speeches on Mongolian terminologies of various fields such as education, medicine, agriculture, and natural sciences.
