The Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports held a meeting with the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, who is on a visit to Japan, held a meeting with the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology Mr. Masahiko. As a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two ministries in February 2017, the sides expressed their wish to intensify the implementation of the memorandum. Several important matters were discussed in the framework of the partnership, such as studying opportunities to jointly organize short- and long-term training courses for teachers’ professional development and implement a joint scholarship program for professionals. As part of the partnership between the governments of the two countries and further developing Japanese Koosen schools (technology colleges) in Mongolia, they also discussed establishing four new Koosen schools, and partnering in its development of becoming a model Global Koosen school for Central and Southeast Asia, as well as matters related to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
