Cambodian delegation studies experience from Mongolia’s local economic development
Cambodian delegates comprising deputy governors, heads of governor’s office, and officials of the country’s development and investment authority worked in Mongolia.
Within the ETIS program of the National Development Agency of Mongolia and German Agency for International Cooperation, Cambodian delegates comprising deputy governors, heads of governor’s office, and officials of the country’s development and investment authority worked in Mongolia. This enabled them to get acquainted with and study experience from Mongolia’s national and local development policies, ways of undertaking economic planning, and investment attraction policies, as well as operation of SMEs in food and light industries. During the visit, the delegation met with relevant authorities including the Head of the National Development Agency of Mongolia. They received information and discussed Mongolia’s development policies, planning, external and internal investment environments, and ongoing projects and programs. Also opportunities for establishing cooperation between administrative units of the two countries were noted. As part of their visit, the delegates got acquainted on-site with the operation of SMEs in food and light industries.
