Matters of regional integration were considered in UB
An international scientific conference themed “Regional Integration and Mongolia” took place at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
An international scientific conference themed “Regional Integration and Mongolia” took place at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Some scholars and professors from Jilin University of China, Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering, East Siberia State University of Technology and Management and the University of Salford of the United States took part in this international conference. The conference had discussions on over 10 presentations under such topics as ‘Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor’, ‘Governance and regional cooperation between China, Japan and S.Korea in globalization’, ‘Foreign trade and economic development of Mongolia’ and ‘New achievements in relations between Mongolia and China in regional integration’. Senior researcher of Mongolia’s Institute of International Affairs, Dr. Bayasakh said “In general, the feasibility studies of projects and programs to be implemented within the Economic Corridor of the three countries have been made. Next year an International Energy Network Center will be established in Ulaanbaatar. Therefore, our country should pay attention to improving its infrastructure, developing highways and bringing forward the upgrade of the rail network."
