Mongolia and European Union expand bilateral relation

The European Union’s ambassador to Mongolia, Traian Laurentiu Hristea, led a delegation of more than 30 European ambassadors and senior diplomats to Mongolia in order to meet with the country’s political leaders as well as its civil society members. President Battulga Khaltmaa met with the ambassadors and other government officials to discuss how to strengthen bilateral relations following the entry into force of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement in 2017, which aims to build on shared commitments towards good governance, human rights, and sustainable development. Mongolia and the European Union also took time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ulaanbaatar and Brussels.
