The Ministry of Environment and Tourism received the necessary equipment for the research of the project on preserving Gobi bear or Mazaalai. The technical support was provided within the framework of the project on rendering technical assistance for Gobi bear preservation in accordance with the agreement established between the government of Mongolia and China past year. The Chinese Government rendered over CNY 660, 000 worth research equipment necessary for the Gobi bear preservation. Administration of the Great Gobi A Strictly Protected Area and Mongolian steppe researchers will be operating the equipment and monitoring the preservation process.
