Mongolia and Turkey exchanged information on the chamber’s statute, operations, goals and membership in the first meeting of the Mongolia-Turkey Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mongolia and Turkey exchanged information on the chamber’s statute, operations, goals and membership in the first meeting of the Mongolia-Turkey Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the meeting, the joint chamber of commerce and industry decided to cooperate with Turkey mainly in tourism, leather production, light industry, agriculture, construction, infrastructure, transport, logistics, education and human resource, and in increasing exports of these industries, exchange experiences, advance bilateral cooperation and support entities. Trade deficit between Mongolia and Turkey is high and through the newly established chamber it will be possible to take actions for boosting exports. Moreover, it was noted at the meeting that the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey which falls this year opens up possibilities for elevating bilateral business ties. The joint chamber was established with a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides during the 32nd Conference of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry held in Turkey last November.
