This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany.

This year marks the 45^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Embassy in Ulaanbaatar jointly held an honorary reception dedicated to the anniversary at the Ministry. The event brought together over 180 guests including state and government officials, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Mongolia, Mongolian and German businesspeople and representatives of civil society organizations. Both sides expressed their pleasure at successful development of Mongolia-Germany relations that has expanded to comprehensive partnership and conveyed their readiness to reinforce it and deepen bilateral cooperation. Moreover, a photo exhibition was mounted, showing the history of Mongolia-Germany political relations between 1990 and 2000. The 45^th anniversary will be celebrated throughout the year in both countries.
