Construction work of Sainshand wastewater treatment plant will commence in March. Funded by the Asian Development Bank, the wastewater treatment plant will be constructed by a Turkish company with a USD 3.7 million. The plant will solve sewage issue of Sainshand city of eastern Dornogobi province as well as railway station settlement of Sainshand as requested by the local authorities. According to the researchers' estimation, there is a necessity to treat 1200 cubic meters of wastewater in Sainshand and 400 cubic meters in the settlement on a daily basis.
