The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is implementing the project “Strengthening the National Capacity of Earthquake Disaster Protection and Prevention in Mongolia” from 2017 to 2019 in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency or JICA. The project’s aim is to improve earthquake disaster protection countermeasures through enhancing prevention and preparedness. In the framework of the project, JICA presented equipment that will be used to earthquake risk assessment of building structures as well as in training for National Emergency Management Agency.
