Conference on Mongolian studies takes place in Canberra

The Embassy of Mongolia in Australia, in collaboration with the Mongolian Studies Centre at the Australian National University, organized a scientific conference themed ‘Mongols at the Edges of Mongolia’ in Canberra, Australia. Some 11 scholars from Mongolia, the Republic of Buryatia and the Republic of Kalmykia of Russia, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China and Australia took part in the conference. The scholars gave presentations on the challenges faced by Mongols settled in the countries surrounding Mongolia in preserving their history, language, culture and tradition.
