Ulaanbaatar expands cooperation with Irkutsk city
The partnership agreement between Ulaanbaatar and Irkutsk city of Russian Federation was renewed during the Mayor of Irkutsk city Mr. Dmitry Berdnikov’s official visit to Mongolia.
The partnership agreement between Ulaanbaatar and Irkutsk city of Russian Federation was renewed during the Mayor of Irkutsk city Mr. Dmitry Berdnikov’s official visit to Mongolia. With the renewal of the agreement, there will be more opportunities for partnership in sectors, such as education, city planning and public transport, as well as support in exporting products made of meat, wool and cashmere. The two sides also discussed views on developing tourism between the two cities and giving support to Mongolian companies that run their operations in Irkutsk. The Mayor of Irkutsk city Dmitry Berdnikov said, “Irkutsk has always been a “powerhouse” to prepare Mongolian educated workforce. As our two cities are geographically close, we have a great environment to further develop partnership.”
