The second stage of Capacity Building of Capital Market in Mongolia project will be co-implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Financial Regulatory Commission or FRC in 2019-2022. In frames of the project, Senior Advisor at JICA Jiro Tsunoda and Deputy Head of Department of State Policy and Financial Sector Ogata Erina worked in Mongolia this month, meeting with authorities of the Ministry of Finance, the Mongolian Stock Exchange, the Bank of Mongolia, FRC, the Mongol Securities Exchange and Mongolian Association of Securities Dealers and holding a meeting to plan the works to be fulfilled within the second stage of the project. At the meeting, they plan to organize works including making research on corporate bond market performance, giving advice on it,  setting up ranking organization, defining non-stock commercial legal arrangement and principle of system and improving public awareness on capital market. Within the first stage of the project implemented in 2014-2017, activities on introducing international standards in capital market of Mongolia, learning experiences from highly developed countries and upgrading legal environment were organized.
