Mongolian delegation attends World Intellectual Property Organization's meeting
The 58th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Head of Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia IPOM Erdenesuren delivered remarks at the plenary session of the event. In his remarks, Mr. Erdenesuren highly appreciated WIPO’s activities on elaborating patent cooperation as well as Madrid and Hague Systems and that the project on installing industrial property automation system at IPOM was successfully completed with support of WIPO. Furthermore, he expressed hope that the Analytic project on resources and management of IPOM and other ongoing projects in Mongolia will be successfully implemented. During the event the delegation met with Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization Francis Gurry, informing him about current state and further plans of IPOM. The sides also touched upon the issue of co-organizing events on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Mongolia joining WIPO. Meetings with three Assistant Director Generals and the Director of the Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau of the organization were held with talks about cooperation in the future.
