Trade cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia strengthens

The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan ‘Atameken’, Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mongolia co-organized an event themed ‘Trade and Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Mongolia’, which involved entities of the two countries in the fields of energy, construction, health and so forth. In 2017, bilateral trade turnover between Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan reached USD 75 million, majority of which were export from Kazakhstan. Trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Kazakhstan has been rapidly developing over the recent years. Entrepreneurs of the two countries are working to strengthen their ties and to expand relations and cooperation in all fields. The countries have sufficient potential of intensifying cooperation in the spheres of infrastructure, agriculture, energy as well as pharmaceutical manufacturing. Additionally, some private talks were held during the event, promoting formulation of partnership between business entrepreneurs and entities of the two countries. In conclusion, the sides agreed to systematically reduce the problems entrepreneurs face.
