Veteran athlete from Mongolia won four gold medals at World Masters Power-lifting Competition
In the men’s over 70 years old category, a veteran teacher of the Mongolian National University of Education J.Baasandamba won four gold medals.
Powerlifting athletes from 23 countries partook in the 36th International Powerlifting Federation World Masters Powerlifting Championships, which took place in Ulaanbaatar. In the men’s over 70 years old category, a veteran teacher of the Mongolian National University of Education J.Baasandamba won four gold medals, lifting a total of 300kg. S.Baasandamba, the 75-year old athlete, is preparing to participate in the forthcoming Asian Championships, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar in December. Since the beginning of 2018, Mongolian powerlifting team and athletes have won more than 20 medals from Asian and the World Championships.
