Eagle huntress from Mongolia to study English in Astana
Aishoplan will get basic knowledge of English in Astana for her preparation to study at Harvard University which invited her a few years ago.
Aisholpan, the eagle huntress intends to get an education in Astana, Kazakhstan, her historic homeland. Eagle hunting is an ancient hunting tradition and unique cultural heritage of Kazakh people and the Kazakh minority living in western Mongolia. She will get basic knowledge to study at Harvard University which invited her a few years ago. Aisholpan earned herself a worldwide recognition as her role in the documentary movie named ‘The Eagle Huntress’. The movie released in 2016 was based on her story of participating as a first female contestant at the Golden Eagle Festival held in Mongolia. “The world celebrity has decided to continue her studies in Kazakhstan. She was invited by many universities and she came into a conclusion that she will stay in Kazakhstan for 2-3 years. This is very important for the Kazakh-Mongolian cooperation,” said Yerlan Sagadiyev, Kazakh Minister of Education and Science.
