New Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan appointed

President of Mongolia Battulga Khaltmaa received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan Batjargal Dambadarjaa. President Battulga ordered Ambassador Batjargal to focus on intensifying bilateral relations and launching large-scale economic projects and wished him success. The newly-assigned Ambassador who was born in 1966 in Ulaanbaatar graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1995, Waseda University in 2002. He holds the diplomatic rank Senior Shadar and worked as Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan since August 2016. In 1972, the People’s Republic of Mongolia and Japan established diplomatic relations. Japan serves as a source of democratic principles and values as well as a political, economic, and social model for Mongolia’s own development and Mongolia also has supported Japan during hardship.
