Training for health teachers launched
The course will take place between August 13th and 17th with the involvement of 90 people including specialists in charge of primary and health education.
The opening ceremony of the national training course for teachers who deliver health education was held Monday at the Institute of Teacher’s Professional Development. The course will take place between August 13th and 17th with the involvement of 90 people including specialists in charge of primary and health education at the Departments of Education, Culture, and Arts of provinces and districts as well as biology teachers. The Minister of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports issued a resolution to provide health education in secondary schools. Health lesson will not be an independent subject for students from the first to the third grades as it is included in other subjects. The subject for students from the fourth to twelfth grade is based on six contents: personal hygiene, eating, movement, mental health, bad habit, and reproductive health.
