Mongolian Red Cross Society continues its support to flood zones
These assistance include 240 thousand tugrugs in cash per households in the affected areas followed with the kitchen and bathroom sets, blankets, mats and water bottles.
The Mongolian Red Cross Society (MRCC) has begun providing nearly 110 million tugrugs or about 50 thousand USD cash assistance to citizens of Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd, Selenge, Uvurkhangai and Tuv aimags who lost their homes in flood disaster. These assistance include 240 thousand tugrugs in cash per households in the affected areas followed with the kitchen and bathroom sets, blankets, mats and water bottles. This summer, Mongolia has been experiencing heavy rainfalls which led to floods in some parts of the country as well as parts of the capital city Ulaanbaatar.
