As of the first half of 2018, the number of foreigners visiting Mongolia increased by 10 percent compared to the same period last year. This growth is expected to keep up, stemming from the upcoming traditional summer festival Naadam, which attracts the biggest number of tourists of the year. Summer is the most convenient season to travel through vast Mongolian land while experiencing nomadic countryside with vibrant city lifestyle. Mongolia plans to receive 1 million annual tourists by 2020. Thus, the increase in the number of tourists shows that Mongolia is near its expected target.
