'Steppe of Chinggis Khaan-Mongolian nomads’ exhibition opens in Denmark
The exhibition displays Mongolian nomadic civilization and historic events of Chinggis Khaan in an interesting way using modern digital technology.
Co-organized by the National Museum of Denmark and ‘Moesgaard’ ethnographic museum in Aarhus city, a special exhibition titled ‘Steppe of Chinggis Khaan-Mongolian Nomads’ was opened in Denmark. The exhibition displays Mongolian nomadic civilization and historic events of Chinggis Khaan in an interesting way using modern digital technology, showcasing some 1240 sample pieces of ethnographic items and antiquities collected by Danish traveler and anthropologist Henning Haslund-Christensen in 1920-1930s and historic finds of the 13th century being preserved in the National Museum of Mongolia, Institute of History and Archaeology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. “The Kingdom of Denmark is one of the first Western Democratic countries that established diplomatic relations with Mongolia and the two countries have rich historic ties based on common values such as democracy, human rights, legal governance and sustainable development goals, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden M.Enkhsaikhan said.
