A Mongolian young freestyle wrestler Erkhembayar.N claimed a gold medal at the World Deaf Freestyle Wrestling Championships held in Vladimir city of the Russian. The freestyle wrestler became a world champion in youth category of 61 kg by winning his four opponents by technical fall. Specifically, he defeated athletes from Bulgaria and Turkey at sectional wrestling and Kazakhstan’s Yershat Janabil at the semi-final and Russian Magomed Magomedov at the gold medal match. Erkhembayar.N previously won a silver medal in Deaflympics 2017 Samsun, 2016 Junior World Champion.
