Mongolian alumni of Russian universities held a concert
The concert was co-organized by the Embassy of Russian Federation in Ulaanbaatar at the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports.
Mongolian artists graduated in Russian Federation between 2000 and 2018 performed a concert ‘Thank You Russia’ at the Russian Center for Science and Culture. Mongolia temporarily halted its activity to educate students in the field of art and culture in Russian Federation in the years of 1990-2004. The concert was co-organized by the Embassy of Russian Federation in Ulaanbaatar at the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports. The Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia held a joint meeting in 2004 and since then, Mongolian art and cultural workers have been prepared in Russian Federation. Successful alumni of Russian universities are working in the Mongolian famous theatres, ensembles, art schools and private organizations. Moreover, some of them are working in the Mariinsky Theatre, Opera and Ballet Theatres of Novosibirsk, Perm and Ulaan Ude. So far, the number of students and art and cultural workers who involved in re-training program and graduated in Russian Federation exceeds 250.
