Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Tsogzolmaa.Ts received delegates headed by Takako Egawa, President of Soroptimist-Japan Kansai Region. Minister Tsogzolmaa expressed her pleasure at meeting with members of Soroptimist Federation which has 75 thousand members in 122 countries and thanked them for paying attention to the development of Mongolian education sector and seeking opportunities to make an investment.  The delegates put their proposal to invest in the education sector, especially actions targeted to the orphan, poor and vulnerable group’s children. "The Ministry will fully support the request to help children with disabilities as well as children living in difficult situations. Today, Mongolia has about one hundred thousand people with disabilities and around ten thousand of them are children. We can cooperate in rendering assistance to these children and their teachers too, learning from Japanese practices. Furthermore, we are in need of Braille printing machine and hearing aids for special school children," said the Minister. The delegates responded that they will discuss the Minister's request and find ways and solutions to support them.  Soroptimist-Japan Kansai Region started investing in education sector two years ago.
