Czech NGO to fight Mongolian air pollution

The Czech NGO People in Need is to implement ‘Right to Breathe’ project. The project aims to increase access to information, transparency, and accountability in air pollution activities in Ulaanbaatar city and the western Arkhangai province. The project team will work in Arkhangai from this June to measure air pollution, to create a database and to organize advocacy activities for citizens. The first project will install several types of air-pollution monitoring equipment in Tsetserleg city, the center of Arkhangai province. With the funding of around EUR315.000 from the European Union and the Czech Development Agency, the project will be realized between 2018 and 2020.
