Parliament speaker discusses cooperation with Polish delegates

The discussed topics were establishing agreements on employment and social protection of Mongolian expatriates in Poland, increasing the Polish government-funded scholarships and opening Embassies.

Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament Enkhbold.M received delegates of Sejm, Lower House of Parliament of Poland. The delegation was led by Marek Rzasa, a member of the Sejm and head of the Polish-Mongolian parliamentary group in the Polish Parliament. Speaker Enkhbold.M highlighted that the inter-parliamentary ties have been playing an important role in Mongolia-Poland cooperation with long-standing historical relations. He also noted the significance of developing a legal environment to enrich the ties with economic content and expand bilateral cooperation. The discussed topics were establishing agreements on employment and social protection of Mongolian expatriates in Poland, increasing the Polish government-funded scholarships and opening permanent Embassies in both countries. Poland and Mongolia established diplomatic relations in 1965. Over the past decades, the two countries’ relations have been developing with varying intensity, becoming more dynamic recently. Last year, Mongolia received a loan of EUR50 million from Poland which is being used in the funding of important social projects and programs.
