Mongolia-Ireland bilateral relations to be strengthened
Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Enkhbold.M and Chairman of Lower House of the Irish Parliament Seán Ó Fearghaíl signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
At the invitation of the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Enkhbold.M, Chairman of Lower House of the Irish Parliament Seán Ó Fearghaíl and accompanying delegates are currently on a three-day official visit to Mongolia. Following an official welcoming ceremony at the central Sukhbaatar Square on Monday morning, heads of the two parliaments signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. The event is seen important to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the legislature and friendly relations between the two states by cooperating for the stable development of all relevant sectors. Moreover, this is a proof of collaboration to support each other in the international arena and hold bilateral meetings to exchange views and positions on international and regional issues.
This December marks the 10th anniversary of the diplomatic relations established between Mongolia and Ireland.
