Green Financing is discussed. The second Forum on Green Finance was held under the theme ‘We support the energy conservation’ this week. Specialists, organizations in charge for energy efficiency, private and public organizations aiming to use energy efficient products and equipments took part in the forum and discussed the solutions on energy conservation and the financing issues. Financing is vital for green entrepreneurs due to high prices of eco-friendly technologies, equipment and products. Khas bank, host of the forum, is currently providing the green or sustainable financing. The bank started business loan program for greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction in 2013 and has granted loan worth of about MNT 50 billion, reducing around 1 million tons of GHG emissions. The business loan program for GHG emission reduction is financed by four international organizations led by the Green Climate Fund, with a total funding of USD 60 million.
