Government works toward increasing the accessibility of primary and secondary level schools and kindergartens. Ulaanbaatar City Governors Council addressed the expansion of existing schools and kindergartens as well as commencement of new kindergartens and schools. The financing will be made from soft loans of international organizations and Mongolian government`s state budget. Total of 18 schools and 56 kindergartens are planned to be established 2 years from today. Ulaanbaatar City Mayor Batbold Sundui noted that the schools expansion projects are expected to result in high schools to operate in double-shifts instead of triple and increase kindergarten accessibility to 85 percent by 2020. The accessibility of schools and kindergartens are the critical issue in Mongolia`s capital city that force some parents to lock up their children to go to work which raise the danger of kids to be harmed physically and emotionally.
