Moreover, the auditing result shows the lowering of ground water reserve by 3 to 5 meters and 40 percent of snow on the snow capped of mountains has been melted. Mongolia’s water reserve consists of 70 percent surface and 30 percent ground water. As a result of the climate change and human activities such as uncontrolled pumping of ground water by households in Ulaanbaatar city, these negative impacts occured.
