Mongolian boxers claim 5 medals at India Open
17 Mongolian boxers led by State Merited Athlete U.Munkh-Erdene took part in “Indian Open” the first international boxing competition of this year, held in New Delhi, India.
17 Mongolian boxers led by State Merited Athlete U.Munkh-Erdene took part in “Indian Open” the first international boxing competition of this year, held in New Delhi, India. Mongolian athletes have brought five medals this time, including three silver and two bronze medals. Mongolia’s Kh.Enkh-Amar and B.Misheelt in men’s seized silver medals 56 and 60 kgs division, while O.Jargalan L.Altantsetseg and E.Erdenetuya claimed bronze medals in women’s 51, 48 and 69kg respectively. In addition, an international judge from Mongolia D.Mandakhbayar served as a judge of Indian Open. A total of 230 boxers from 23 countries competed at this year’s competition.
