Mongolian southern province to cooperate with Japanese Shizuoka prefecture

Mongolian southern province to cooperate with Japanese Shizuoka prefecture. A delegation led by Governor of southern province Dornogobi visited Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The delegation met the Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture Heita Kawakatsu, exchanging views on cooperation between two provinces and its outcomes. The sides extended the cooperation agreement and agreed to cooperate in many sectors. To specify more, a branch of the Mongolian University of Medical Sciences in Dornogobi province has established cooperation with the Shizuoka Prefectural University of Health and Welfare. Within the cooperation, Japanese doctors and teachers will conduct trainings and workshops in Dornogobi province. During the meeting, an agreement on cooperation in education sector was signed on extending a high school student exchange program by one year. As of today, over 200 high school pupils, 20 teachers and more than 60 state servants of Dornogobi province visited Japan.
